A show about the power of local sustainably grown food to connect us more strongly with our communities and the lands we inhabit. Includes interviews with local food producers, backyard growers and urban farmers, and information about food justice organisations, food swaps, community gardens, farmers markets, sustainability events and food rescue in the Melbourne region.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at 3CR. We’re excited to celebrate their incredible work at the station during National Volunteer Week 19-25 May. Keep an eye on the socials where we’ll be sharing videos from our community language broadcasters, and of course listen up and enjoy the great talents of our programmers.
